Black In Canada Mentorship Program (BICMP)
The Black In Canada Mentorship Program (BICMP) was established to create a community among Black Canadian Creatives: this includes Artists, Actors, Filmmakers and the performing arts in Canada.
BICMP Program objectives:
The program’s core objectives include improving the Canadian Black Creatives' performance, increasing awareness of resources, creating a safe hub for relationship building among peers and industry stakeholders, and fostering a sense of belonging within the wider Black Actors and Film Guild community.

Black In Canada Mentorship Program provides training, mentorship, screening, and other performing arts program that are directed towards Canadian Black Creatives.

The idea behind the BICMP program is to establish a year-round multipurpose creative hub for training, mentorship and promoting Canadian Black Creatives through Music, Theater, Film, Television and the performing arts.
All BICMP mentors will use their experiences to help their program mentees navigate the industry as Black creatives.
BICMP's Goal
BICMP’s training priority is to mentor each mentee using their lived, knowledge and professional experience to advance their sense of belonging, confidence, self-esteem, skills, development and social capital. Our goal is to offer mentorship opportunities to Black Creatives of all ages and genders and work with diverse industry professionals to achieve career-building and skills development.
